Growing up in Argentina, we had Sunday barbecues that were a special experience, lasting all day. Typically, we sat at the table for hours, socializing and savoring the barbecued feast on a beautiful cutting board.

In creating these cutting boards, I wanted to celebrate this barbecue tradition with a useful tabletop piece that is both functional and beautiful.

Extensive evaluation of many different woods indicated that walnut and cherry work best together, aging gracefully and improving with time.

In making the boards, we look to celebrate the grain, matching for the best possible finished look.

To deliver long term durability and quality we take extra steps to smooth all wood strips prior to joining. This allows for a quality joint that lasts for years to come.

Once joined, each board is sanded and oiled, a coat of beeswax is applied, and each board is buffed.
